I am so impressed with Toronto, where I’m attending the Bouchercon Mystery Conference, but it doesn’t seem to like my technology. So today’s pics are very late. Wish you all were here to see what a friendly, wonderful city Toronto is.
Morning started very early. I had to be at the convention hotel, ready to go, by 7:30
So funny.
Lion and the Lamb. Everyone is equal under the law.
Author speed dating event. My author partner, Felicia Yap, and I talked to people at 20 tables in 100 minutes!
I got a picture with bestselling author/my hero, Louise Penny. Trip. Made.
Like Times Square. Sort of.
Big city, big TV.
Excellent drummer.
A cat named McLovin. A real cutie. Gave money and took a pic. Then…
I walked away after visiting the cat, but a man stopped me and gave me this pamphlet saying, “This is from McLovin.” Sadly, it was not paw-signed.
Another one of my lit heroes: Janet Hutchings, editor of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, interviewed by Macavity Award winner, Art Taylor.
Dinner at Yutaka. Most delicious and exotic chef’s election I’ve had in years.

Laura, it looks so inviting, and thanks for all the wonderful pictures.
Wish you all could have been there, Skye!
Me, too, Laura; if I could just get myself started with writing or finish what I have begun.
